MILAN - INTERIOR RENOVATION

We are on the beautiful Via Cosimo del Fante, in an elegant Milanese building dating from the late 19th century. Here, a subtle bourgeois and collectors’ charm comes to life in a spacious flat, characterised by a colour palette that blends plum, mauve, copper and terracotta – a mix of colours accentuated by Altai rugs and works of art by contemporary artists. The structural alteration is particularly striking, creating a feature wall – clad in a Pictalab design – to conceal the kitchen area and give the living room, a dramatic sense of space.

The sleeping area is characterised by curved lines, alcoves and period details, such as the beautiful door panels and period flooring. There is a significant presence of Italian and international design: from the Tube d’Avion dining table to Cassina’s 291 Dress-up sofa, from Mackintosh’s Argyle chairs to the LSP6 Tommy wall lights by Caccia Dominioni, right through to the contemporary console table by The Laquer Company.
